1-Inventions – the things that changed the world.

One of the biggest invention that changed the world were; the Electricity, Penicillin, Light Bulb, Cotton Gin, The Telephone, Printing press.

In the 1440s, Johann Gutenberg invented the printing press. Before that a page was copied by hand.

Alexander Graham Bell invented the telephone. So now we can communicate with anyone in the world.

The cotton gin (A device – which pulls the seeds out of the cotton fibers quickly and easily) was invented in 1792 by Eli Whitney.

The light bulb was invented by Thomas Edison.

While most people generally attribute Benjamin Franklin as electricity discoverer, but there is not firm fact about that.

Penicillin was discovered from Alexander Fleming in 1928. He had forgotten to wash the dishes so suddenly after a period of time he saw mold on the dishes. He discovered that the mold could kill bacteria, which proved that there was an antibacterial agent in the mold.

The best shopping street in my town Gostivar

The best-shopping street in my town actually is not one street. There are two streets where they converge in the center of the town. On of them is Debarska Street, and I don’t know the name of the other street. The problem is that I always forget it. Now, before the New Year, shop windows are ornamented with decorations. There are two shopping buildings: Importane and Blue Centar. Shops for clothes, not only that but also there is one chain of markets called Getro, and on those two streets, there are two of them. Also, another market which is famous in our town and everyone goes there to buy food is called Montenegro.

The best shopping street in the world

The best shopping street in the world according to me is in Venice, Italy.
According to the town’s structure and the shape of the houses we can expected not so big and large streets. Most of them are short, but like labyrinth. Houses are so close, probably if a neighbors are lazy they put a label from one window to the other and why to bother going up and down stairs they do it on this way when they want to drink coffee and have some chat with the neighbor. Shops are on the bases of the old buildings and houses. Everything is so good organized. There are many shops where you can buy souvenirs, masks, some typical ornaments. As you can see from the picture, everything is open for the costumers and people are friendly.

Dialogue in shopping center

Mitko enters in a shopping building called Blue Center in Gostivar.

Mitko: Good afternoon, excuse me where can I find training shoes.
B: How old are you, boy.
Mitko: Why?
B: Because in front of you there is a big sign where is written on each level of this building what can you find.
Mitko: Oh, sorry!

Mitko shamed of his last action read that on the third floor is what he was searching for and now, he is going on the third floor of the building where the sport equipment is. Walking around the shelves where training shoes are. Shop assistant follows him on every step.

Shop assistant : How can I help you?
Mitko: I want training shoes. They have to be black, from leather and now so expensive.
Shop assistant: There you have thirty kinds of shoes. Just tell me which model do you want and which number do you wear.
Mitko: I want this model from Nike, number 43.
Shop assistant: Sorry, we don’t have that number from that model.
Mitko: Ok, then give me from the other model that is similar on this model.
Shop assistant: Sorry, we do not have that number and from that model.
Mitko: Then tell me from which model do you have number for me.
Shop assistant: I am afraid there is not number for you. It is hard to find that number from these training shoes.
Mitko: Thank you, for yours inclusive answers. Goodbye
!

Likes & Dislikes About Macedonia

Macedonia is the country in which I live. I woul lite to write about three good things in Macedonia. Ohrid is a town that is so beautiful, and was visited by many tourists. Macedonian traditional food, that is so delicious. Cave Djonovica that is the most beautiful Macedonia. Three bad things when I am talking for my country are high percent of unemployment, high prize for electricity, and low percent of people who are using internet connection. Ohrid is the most beautiful ancient town with old culture, and it attracts many tourists. The town is on the south-west part of Macedonia, and has a fantastic view of the Ohrid Lake. Most of the tourists come to admire the architecture. The houses have a specific shape like the one pyramid turn down. The walls are white with big wooden windows. Equally important, is the fortress with walls of stone and narrow streets. There are three big gates from which the tourists are entering. In addition, the most beautiful and oldest churches are in Ohrid. The relics of St. Naum are buried in one of the Thirty-six Churches. In fact, most of the tourists visit Ohrid during the summer. The coast of the lake is transformed into great beaches. From the mourning till evening, the beaches are overcrowded. During the night and until morning, the discotheques are overcrowded. The most interesting parties and festivals are at night. Ohrid Summer Festival and Disco Parties are the most visited. Many tourists are impressed and pleased; number of tourists is rising every year. The food, which restaurants and hotels offer, is the Macedonian traditional food including the famous trout. Moussaka and trout with a sausage from potatoes on traditional plates are the most delicious meals. Macedonian traditional food is so delicious, and tasty. People all over from the world are just talking about Macedonia ajvar. They are so impressed, and by coming in Macedonia they usually buy ajvar, and took it with them in their countries. There are many places untouched by people. Life is not the same in these places as in the areas where people live. People do not live in the caves now. One unique and exciting place is the cave Djonojca. The cave is thirty-three kilometres from Gostivar. It is located at the bottom of two mountains Shara and Bistra where they are connected. The sun never touches the entrance walls. Old trees and aromatic flowers surround the cave entrance. The entrance of the cave is a small long hole, and just one person at a time can enter.. The hole I entered was dark and creepy. No light or sounds came from the mysterious hole.. Under the ground, were seven chambers connected by a small rounded passage. That cave was irresistibly awesome. The walls are white stone and attractively shaped. Stalagmites and stalactites looked like frozen ice melting drop after a drop into a small torrent. At the top of the cave, stalactites grew down like needles. Drops were slowly falling from the ends of the stalactites. Stalagmites rose up from the bottom to the top of the cave. They looked like high White Mountains. Small insects were lazily walking on the floor. Spiders, ants, aphids all were small and black. There is vegetation, but because of the lack of sun, they were not green. In the third chamber of the cave, a big rock was enveloped with flowers. At the top of the cave, is a little holes from which entered sunrays. Sunrays were touching the big rock, and the flowers, which were on. The flowers were red, white and yellow in an indefinite shape similar to roses. The flowers had just a bloom without a stem, directly connected to the roots. The rock looked like a bed of roses. In the fourth chamber of the cave, there is a small torrent. It is still a mystery from where the water originates, and where it disappears. The water was so cold and crystal running noisily in one of the cave chambers. The sound the water made was so musical and loud. Voice is echoing in every corner of the cave. A pool with a hot water was at the end of the cave. The chamber was full of steam. I could hear my heart beating so fast. In the second chamber of the cave, there were spiders. There is not a big hole leading outside the cave. I could see the sky through the hole. Probably they entered through that hole. Is interesting to listen to how nature elegantly matures. Every second everything was changing. At the same time, the smell was wild, filling my soul with energy and confusing my mind. Mountain wind is a mixed of smell of trees, flowers, and grass. When I tasted the water, it was not heavy. It was so sweet and cold. The water quenched my thirst. All that unity is a mystery, which makes my soul full with admiration. That cave is attractive and pleasant to look at. Despite that I like much to talk about the good thing in my country, there are also and bad things. High percent of unemployment is probably the most important problem in my country. What can I say only that if people do not work, where they will find money for food, for their children scholarship and wher3e they will find money for clothes?High prize for electricity is the second dab thing in Macedonia. Winter is coming; people need to warm up their homes. When they do not have money with what to pay the bills for electricity, do they need not to eat and not to worn clothes. The low percent of people, who are using internet connection, is a consequence of the poorness of our country. When I am talking about poorness, I mean the low way of education and the low salary. When people do not have money how we expect to be in touch with the word and the most current and new things which are happening nowadays.
